Because something has been normalized, does not mean it’s right.
And we know it.
But the problem is normalcy robs people of their sensitivity to wrongdoing. When we see wrong things happening, we get angry and seek ways to change them. That’s the normal human reaction that maintains morality and improves any society.
Normalcy changes that.
We may get angry, resist the wrong… but eventually, because things have been normalized, we become indifferent and do not seek change.
